About me

My name is Mohd Yuzi Yusof and i'm from Terengganu. Now 'im staying at kepong, Selangor because i need to proceed with my job as a teacher at SMK Seri Gombak..i'm very interested about science and technology since at school. My first degree is on Environmentally Technology under Faculty of Applied Sciences, Universiti Teknologi Mara, Selangor so i am also currently continue my study in Master of Biology at University Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) in the town of Tanjong Malim.I teach my students in the science subject at the school, as a teacher, what of the important things is to make sure all of my students are able to understands about the lesson and they are enjoy with my teaching.

(GMO) genetically modified organism

GMO stands for genetically modified organism. The acronym can be applied to plants, animals or microorganisms, whereas the term genetically engineered microorganism (GEM) refers only to bacteria, fungi, yeast or other microorganisms. In both cases, however, these terms refer to a living organism that has been genetically altered using molecular genetics techniques such as gene cloning and protein engineering.

Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) is an organism whose genetic material has been altered using genetic engineering techniques. These techniques, generally known as recombinant DNA technology, use DNA molecules from different sources, which are combined into one molecule to create a new set of genes. This DNA is then transferred into an organism, giving it modified or novel genes.
